We have our first batch of chicks at the orphanage in Uganda! The children are having a great experience seeing the whole process too. 206 out of the 214 eggs that they placed in their incubator hatched.
The chickens will be raised for 6 months and then sold. The revenue generated will go toward their general operating budget of the orphanage. The goal of this and many other projects is to help them to become financially independent
